REMOTE NOTARIAL DEED: Since April 1st, notaries are allowed to sign a notarized document remotely. This is not compulsory and notaries are free to use this additional tool or not. Consult the steps and application procedures.
CHAMBRE DES NOTAIRES OFFICES: The Chamber's offices are open, but due to the circumstances related to the coronavirus some services are offered remotely. Additional delays apply for requests for searches in Registers of Testamentary Dispositions and Mandates, as well as for requests for a Certificate of Quality and Authenticity.

View the Disciplinary Council's schedule of hearings

The schedule of disciplinary hearings – called the "hearing roll" – shows the date, the name of the notary or former notary and the location of the hearing. These hearings are public unless an order is issued to the contrary.

Before you arrive, we recommend that you check the page of the roll to see whether there have been any changes in the schedule.

Please note that before the first hearing is held, the Disciplinary Council's office cannot provide access to the complaint or to the other documents that make up the disciplinary file. Only the information contained on the hearing roll may be disclosed.

The schedule of disciplinary hearings is in PDF format. To read it, you need Adobe Reader 5.0 or higher.
